New Culinary Experience Coming to Estes Park Golf Course This Spring |
Fire Dragon, LLC to Introduce Upscale Dining at the Clubhouse |
Golf enthusiasts and local residents alike are set to enjoy a fresh dining experience at the Estes Park 18-Hole Golf Course this spring. Fire Dragon, LLC, renowned for its upscale Outlaws and Legends Steakhouse, has been selected to operate the clubhouse restaurant, offering a new culinary concept to the community.
The Estes Valley Recreation and Park District (EVRPD) board of directors approved Fire Dragon's proposal during their recent meeting. Pending successful negotiations, the new restaurant is slated to open in March, welcoming both golfers and the general public. While the establishment's name is yet to be announced, the vision is clear: to create a premier gathering spot defined by excellence in cuisine, service, and hospitality.
Brett Daugherty and Abby Sweeney, the duo behind Fire Dragon, have expressed their commitment to elevating the dining experience at the golf course. Their proposal outlines plans to operate the clubhouse restaurant, manage two on-course food and beverage carts, and provide exceptional catering services for tournaments, special events, and weddings. The goal is to establish a venue that golfers, visitors, and residents are proud to share with family and friends.
The proposed operating hours are as follows:
In March and April, the restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. From May through December, excluding January and February which will be reserved for events, the restaurant will operate daily. Hours in May will be from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., extending to 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. during the peak golfing season from June through August. September through December hours will revert to 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The menu is designed to cater to a variety of tastes and schedules. Traditional breakfast grab-and-go items will be available, along with a complete clubhouse breakfast menu. Golfers can order ahead while on the course and pick up their meals during a break before tackling the back nine holes. The clubhouse will offer soups, salads, sandwiches, and luncheon entrées. From 4 p.m. until closing, patrons can enjoy seasonal chef specials or entrées such as chicken piccata or beef tenderloin.
This initiative marks a significant shift from the previous dining options at the Hangar, aiming to provide a more refined and diverse culinary experience. The community eagerly anticipates the opening of this new establishment, which promises to become a cherished destination for both locals and visitors.
